The talk will be followed by a question and answer time, and refreshments are provided. Admission is free.

Every year space agencies invest millions of pounds in searching for extra-terrestrial life. The topic of alien existence also features regularly in the media, films and fiction – but is there any realistic chance of finding life on other planets?

In this illustrated talk, Professor Stuart Burgess will analyse the search for life outside the Earth, and present what the Bible has to say about other planets and extra-terrestrial life.

Professor of Engineering Design at the University of Bristol, Stuart also brings a personal insight to the subject, having worked for the European Space Agency, receiving an engineering design medal for his work on the Envisat satellite for the European Space Agency.
